It is a pretty good drive from the main highway on some pretty bad roads to this Utah State Park. more on TripAdvisor

It cost a few dollars to actually go into the park, but it was neat to walk out onto the sand dunes (watch out for 4-wheelers) and enjoy the glow of the sand at sunset. more on TripAdvisor

Other than the occasional noise from atvs, dune buggies, and rv's next to you, it's a great place to camp, with good shade from large junipers and soft ground (sand). more on GeckoGo
