In Moab the Canyonland Inn is a very nice motel, OK rooms with a nice touch-double sinks in the bathroom. $100 per night for 2 adults, including taxes. more on Epinions.com

If you can only afford one day then I would target Grand View Overlook, Mesa Arch, Green River Overlook and best of all Dead Horse Point. more on TripAdvisor

Note the trail to Delicate Arch isn't long, but is pretty steep, so allow time before the sunset. more on GeckoGo
