It was nice to see the deer that live on the island and the turkey, but it wasn't anything phenomenal. more on TripAdvisor

You can hear the road noise from across the river and it isn't nearly as serene as I had imagined it. more on TripAdvisor

We took the 1st ferry to the island on an overcast Tuesday which meant overall a small crowd. We wanted to do rent bicycles first while it was still cool out but was told that they were not renting th ... more on TripAdvisor
