A Blast -- Much more fun than it looks like from the road
The ski slopes were full so we tried Tony's Tube World -- which looks pretty lame from the road, but it is really fun. You are able to get up to speeds of 25 mph -- the hills are steep and you can even catch air on these tubes. Even though it seems fun to hit the bags at the bottom, drag you feet... Great family fun in the snow
It is unbelievable how they can make snow and keep it from completely melting when temperatures are so warm! We visited Tony's Tube world on a balmy February day. They had 5 downhill lanes open. Dishonest
We drove 7 hours to Maggie Valley to see the sights and to take the kids tubing. The cabin we rented was great and in a great location.
