There temperature was very comfortable (light jacket weather). more on TripAdvisor

The fact that there was very few visitors (mostly truckers that had stopped for the night) gave us free roam, mostly to ourselves. more on TripAdvisor

A place to get out of the vehicle and marvel at the wonderful rugged beauty, the sunrise beyond the horizon was absolutely gorgeous. more on TripAdvisor

TIP: If you are able to arrange for it, it is most spectacular at either sunrise or sunset. more on TripAdvisor

This is a favorite stop for us on our way to visit family in Montana. We have stopped here many times, but just discovered the short hike down into the canyon. Definitely a must-do!!! ... more on TripAdvisor
