Pueblo Motorsports Park

Bishop Castle on Highway 165 just outside Pueblo is the realization of one man's dream to build a castle of stone. Beginning in 1969, the castle still isn't complete (work in progress signs convey this, as does the fact that signing the guestbook relieves architect Jim Bishop of liability) but it's something to behold at three stories high. Once considered an embarrassing oddity, the Castle has grown widely in reputation and notoriety and is now one of the most-visited attractions in Southern Colorado. Visitors can stop by any time and gain entrance for free, and might be possibly catch Bishop working on the next phase of his project - the drawbridge.
