Dry Tortugas National Park offers something for everyone. The park is home to many endangered species as well as remnants of buildings and forts from the Colonial era. Getting to the isolated park is not easy, but visitors are rewarded with breathtaking views of coral reefs and native plant life along the seven-island chain.

Sure, the ferry from Key West takes about 4 hours to get to the island, but once you get there, it'll be worth it. Just the size of the fort in such a secluded area is breath-taking and there's so much to check out in and around it. ... more on Yahoo! Travel
