De Soto Beach was beautiful and had good amenities but bring insect spray and have a back up plan or call ahead and get a mosquito report. more on TripAdvisor

Not a big deal but just a heads up that there is a 35 cent toll which is A LOT less than other beaches charge for either access or parking. more on TripAdvisor
