LOCATION: North of Valdosta, GA, in Southern GA, about 10 miles from I-75 AMENITIES WE LIKE:-miniature golf (not a fancy course, but inexpensive and fun)-biking (flat area; campground is small enough that we can see the kids most anywhere they go)-beach (fun to play in the sand in the fall)-boardwalk nature trail-super easy mountain bike trail right near campground-turtle nesting areas (fun to try to spot their burrows and even look for turtles)-campground (flat, spacious sites, mossy trees, many sit more on Epinions.com

Not far from Veterans Memorial State Park (SAM Shortline tourist train, outdoor veterans exhibit with airplanes) STAFF: Everyone here has been helpful and the campground hosts have always been friendly. more on Epinions.com

This is a typical south georgia lake weeds lilypads and lots of water birds with the occassional alligators. The lask brings good fishing for bass, crapie, and bluegill. There is a beach area for swimming. Nature trails are available ... more on Epinions.com
