This 1000+ acre park north of Baltimore is perfect for a summer swim (in an old quarry now filled up with clear water), a fall hike (when the leaves are turning), or a winter walk through the snowy, but well-marked trails that the excellent OR Nature Center maintains. more on KidsPlayParks

It has a nature center, theres a couple times to visit this place, Ive always wanted to go in october for there honey, that they make locally, which y ou can see the bees buzzing and working in the free nature center. more on KidsPlayParks
