Worth every penny!!!

My husband, 15 year old son and I went to Chimney Rock Park during our spring break in March 2007. One of my favorite movies is "The Last of the Mohicans," so it was great to see where part of it was filmed. The Skyline Trail to the top of the falls was strenuous, but worth the pain. for the love of hiking

The drive to the top is ok but narrow. On weekdays there's not a problem getting to the top parking area but weekend you may have to ride the bus up. Great for hikers

The gate admission is $14. Inside you can stand on Chimney Rock and see most of North and South Carolina. You can also take a few hikes and see a huge beautiful waterfall.
