Pullen Park is more than just Raleigh's flagship park. When the former owner of the land donated an old cow pasture to the city for residents to use for recreation, he actually created what was North Carolina's very first public park. Situated on more than 60 acres, there's an aquatic center, a community center, an arts center, ball fields, and even some amusement rides, like a classic carousel.
