You can buy a year-long pass for 30$Long Hunter State Park is an excellent family recreation area, it is good for all ages and abilities and has plenty to offer for a full day's worth of fun--no camping facilities. more on Epinions.com

They have a nice picnic area, bathrooms, playground, a 2-mile paved (stroller friendly) walking trail around the lake and they rent canoes and paddle boats for very reasonable prices. more on Epinions.com

I don't consider the parking fee a drawback, but it can be a hassle to remember to bring exact change for the Bryant Grove area. more on Epinions.com
