If you're travelling to L.A. with young kids, you have to check out this place. The facility is ultramodern and recently constructed in the shell of a much older building. Directions

Take the Exposition Blvd exit off the 110 Freeway, and follow signs to the Museums. Parking is available for $6 in the Figueroa Street lot.
