Waste of Money

We paid 15 dollars for 3 adults and one child. You enter in the gift shop, which isn't a good idea for anyone with children. We paid the cashier, who seemed more interested in playing on the internet than ringing us up. Just so everyone knows...this is a 4 room spot. 4 very small rooms. Not Exciting

We were not impressed with the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. Although we are in our early 30's, we do enjoy the hands on aspect of museums of this type. However, I felt this one was pretty skimpy.

Weekends may be a better bet than weekdays

My best friend and I were eager to enjoy the Marine Science Center after learning there was a "touch tank" where we could pick up critters and enjoy a hands on experience. It was only $4.00
