Las Olas Boulevard is in many ways the heart of Fort Lauderdale, running from Old Town straight west to the beach. It's lined with a lively mix of shops, cafÃ©s, and restaurants, and is frequented by inline skaters. At times, it's possible to take a horse-and-carriage ride in the area.
