This past year I had to exchange my daughter's first walking shoes *three times * before they got the proper fit, return two pairs of shoes for my wide-width preschooler, and then wait weeks for them to special order wide widths because they no longer carry a wide width inventory. more on GoCityKids

I became a huge fan the first time I entered to buy toddler shoes and was talked out of a trendy pair for a very cute and significantly lower priced shoe that the salesperson felt would better protect my son's foot and hold up better in his early walking months. more on GoCityKids

I'm sure I could find cheaper shoes at Target or Old Navy, but for a quality shoe that supports the foot, we'll be going to the Shoe Zoo from now on. more on GoCityKids
