Richmond is old, dirty, and run-down. Most parts of Richmond are not safe to walk to streets at night, and some aren't even safe in the day. People get murdered there everyday. Many Battlefields, But Most Are Small
The Richmond Battlefield driving tour takes you to a number of battlefields,but most are small in area. Chickahominy Bluffs and Beaverdam Creek are the smallest with little to see. Richmond battlefields have wonderful scenery to match rich history.
I visited the battle areas around Richmond for the second time this past summer. The trip was more enjoyable for me this time because I knew more about the battles this time before visiting.
