Icy in December!!

We went skiing December 17-19 2004. Locals claimed they won't ski until they get more snow! I figured out the hard way!! I am an average skier, nothing fancy!! Totally rinky-dink set-up

Let me begin by saying I know we went over Spring Break and we expected crowds/lines. Not only did we get that, but we also got an extremely poorly managed ski resort to boot. Great weekend ski resort

I'm a big fan of the wolf creek resort. I've been back on a multiple occasions and they always seem to have plenty of fresh powder. I know it's no I-70 skiing and we still usually take at least one trip a year to breck or vail, but if you're just looking to hit the slopes for a weekend, wolf cree... Wonderful Wolf Creek Ski Report

My family and I went up to Wolf Creek and skied November 25, 2006. We were planning on going to Durango but there is very little snow there.
