Also, the placement of this lift is such that you do not have to hike to or from it-it goes directly from the bottom to the top, unlike other areas in the east), the ticket price is still reasonable but there are tons of ways to get tickets at a discount these days, nice lodge-and there's only one (multiple base areas can be a problem for managing groups), the crowds have never been bad (in my experience-30+ years of skiing), and of course-the area is facing south. more on SkiSite
