Well, what can you say...

Charming Visit to the Corn Palace

The Corn Palace is basically a community center for the town of Mitchell, SD. Each year the Palace is decorated by murals related to a theme, rendered in colored corn. A-maize-ingly worth a visit!

My mother and I visited the Mitchell Corn Palace in late July 2006, and it was well worth the short detour from the Interstate. Each spring, a different theme for the exterior is chosen, which is completed by the end of September. Salute to Rodeo was selected as the theme for 2006.
