The Ritz is great
My wife and I jusy returned from a 5 night stay at the Riitz and loved it. We were on the Amex Platinum program and received an upgrade to a suite overlooking the pool and the ski mountain. This Ritz is new, not to mention gorgeous nestled in the mountains. It is very rustic, yet cozy. There must be more staff than visitors, as you are constantly greeted and they are anxious to serve you. If you are a skiier, you can catch the lift from the back door of the hotel.
