No Alternatives
The Old Saybrook Point inn is a classic example of "No Alternatives". If you look at old saybrooks choice of hotels to stay in only the B & B's have some charm all others are Days Inn, Comfort inn type hotels. The hotel capitalizes on this by advertising itself as a luxury inn. The only problem is they don't have the vision or the required money invested to be a luxury resort.
