Okay, where to start? If you care at all about horses, I'd stay away from here. Yes, some of their horses were healthy, BUT there was alot of them who were thin and one (that was seen by the public) who had VERY bad saddle sores and was very skinny. Pleasant opportunity to experience the Gettysburg battlefields.

My family really enjoyed being able to ride on the battlefields. The prerecorded audio tour was only fair. A much better intro to the battle/battlefield is hiring a licensed battlefield guide at the National Park Visitor Center ($40; the guide drives your car and narrates for you); we did this ... Well, first of all, I'll say the tour guide and the listen-along tape was very good and informative. I learned alot from the Great Battle. Being a Civil War buff, this was an interesting way to see the battlefield. The price was a bit pricey - though I know this was a very touristy place.

I know what I am talking about...

This last review was outright fabrication. I LIVE here in Gettysburg, and my family and I trail ride at this stable twice a month.
