A totally different experience
My wife and I visited The Lost Sea with our 3-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, this was 2 days after she had walked all through Ruby Falls and Rock City. The Hike Is Worth It
The Lost Sea is a guided tour through multiple caverns - some natural, some blasted - of a cave in Sweetwater, Tennessee. The goal is the underground lake at the bottom and a trip on the glass bottom boat. The way is rough going in some spots. Excellent Choice of Things To Do

I took my 3 sons to The Lost Sea about 15 years ago, and I am finally making the trip back there in a few weeks with a friend. We just loved it...well worth the low price. Also an awesome cave!
My husband and I went to The Lost Sea last year on our way home from vacation. I expected only a boat ride on this lost sea. This place really appeals on a number of levels!
I first visited this place 40 years ago. I had not heard of it, but the signs just sounded so exotic -- "Sail the Lost Sea" that I could not resist.
