Went to Lake Compounce on a recent Friday afternoon. Unfortunately it was very crowded w/picnics, etc... Were told by a worker that there were approx. 10,000 people there--not a usual crowd on a Frida ... more on TripAdvisor

This park doesn't have huge rides but is is a nice quiet park. Lines aren't too long and there is free soda even the food isn't too badly ... more on TripAdvisor
