The older sections of the park have a lot of natural beauty and retains a very old timey classic park atmosphere, and the newer areas, while not filled in yet with trees and such, uses beautiful architecture, and impressive looking placement of rides and attractions on the hilltops to give a more modern, thrill park feel, but still maintains a tie to the classic feel of the entire park. more on ThrillNetwork.com

It's not Disney-but then again it's closer to the NY metro area and cheaper than Disney-and just as wholesome for the kids. more on Yahoo! Travel
