Fun at Moody Gardens

When I went to stay at my aunts house she took me to Moody Gardens. On the way up there she described the place. It sounded really cool, but I did not know it would be this cool. Wonderful

First of all, it's a garden, like the name says. Don't expect rides. If you don't like looking at frogs and fish, this may not be the place for you. My wife and I took our 5-year-old daughter and we all had a wonderful time. If we had our 2 little adrenaline-loving nephews along, they probably would have been bored silly. The only place for recreational physical activity is the pool at Palm Beach. We spent a couple hours at the pool to burn off some energy. Second of all, it's not cheap. We paid $30/person and we haven't seen discounts around town for it like we've seen for Six Flags Astro World or Splash Town. The price tag is obviously high to "keep the riff-raff out" and it works. Like Disney World, it's meant to be a classy joint; it's maintained beautifully and people treat it with respect. The high price tag also means that it wasn't very crowded. We went on a sunny Saturday in July ... A TripAdvisor Member, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on tripadvisor
