• August 2006- Water Country USA is a great way to spend your day.  The 50's/60's music is entertaining and not offensive to listen to throughout the day while you enjoy the park. It's advisable to get to the park on time or even a little early.  It takes a few minutes to get the family, towels and bag out of the vehicle and get them to the gate.  Sometimes the entrance gates do open prior  to 10am but not always.  We've also been there when we were allowed inside the park prior to 10am.  Sometimes the staff is blocking off areas prior to 10am so you cannot start lines for rides or get seating.  This is an ideal time to take a "potty break" and plan which rides you're going to ride first.  The lines are much shorter early and late in the day.
