The tour was definately better than the bus /boat tour we took earlier in the week. more on Yahoo! Travel

(The Coast Guard is there because this site is also under the auspices of the Department of Homeland Security, who has put some cameras on top of the lighthouse, apparently.) more on TripAdvisor

But the view is outstanding, and getting to see the 150-year-old Fresnel light from about a foot away is just awesome. more on TripAdvisor
