The Cave of the Winds will take you on an amazing journey to the water of Niagra Falls. Wear a bright yellow poncho, as you ride the elevator 175 feet deep into the Niagara Gorge. Set your eyes on a rainbow, as the rushing water gently spray you face from the falls. There original natural cave behind Bridal Veil falls was obliterated in a 1954 massive rock fall.

is Actually so amazing, everybody in the staff are actually friendly, is a person in the elevator telling you the story, but don't blink or you miss it, you get so close to the falls, you can touch them, there is a point where you are actually under it and you get wet. more on Yahoo! Travel

We had a great time getting wet and taking tons of pictures for our scrapbooks. more on TripAdvisor

The Cave of the Winds tour takes you right down next to the waterfall. It is neat to be able to stand so close and be battered by the wind and water. It gives you a great perspective on the enormity ... more on TripAdvisor

The only part that really is in a cave is the ride down on the elevator, but this trip was definately worth it. You get to go to the bottom of the falls and see how much power there is to this water. Beautiful ... more on Yahoo! Travel

Even though the cave was closed decades ago, this is still a worthwhile endeavor. Be prepared to get wet. The provided slickers don't help much, but I would go even without any protection. You get to experience the bridal veil portion ... more on Yahoo! Travel

Cave of the Winds is a very unique tour in Niagara Falls. It is worth doing but it has its drawbacks. First, you are issued a large raincoat/poncho and you must turn in your shoes in exchange for loosely woven moccasins. The moccasins ... more on Yahoo! Travel
