My family and I just returned from our annual Christmas trip to Blue Ridge and I just want to put in my 2 cents about the train. Unless you have small kids, don’t spend the money. Our holidat was good - super cabin in the mountians but the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is a rip-off. We saw a little bit of the Toccoa River from our side of the train but we looked out onto banks of weeds for most of the journey. We had an hour to spend in a very uninteresting town and then ...
