... I liked the great thick forests this railroad travels through, and those huge houses we passed by. The ride isn't too long or too short which is good. 1 hour is just right. Steam train + Dbl Jacuzzi = Fun Midweek Escape in New Hope

... toot of the Steam Engine's whistle from our room at the Umpleby House Inn of New Hope, so we walked the 1/2 block down to the Victorian train depot to check it out. Great little depot and a magnificent c 1890 steam locomotive.

It is possible to park for free at the Lahaska station--it was $15 at the New Hope station parking lot when I was there, though they do give a discount if you take the train.
