- The SCERA Center for the Arts was founded in 1933, and is dedicated to youth job training, the development and advancement of culture, education, recreation, and family entertainment.The SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre hosts concerts, plays, musicals, and movies during the warmer months (May through September). Ticket prices vary by performance. Order tickets by phone, online, at the box office, or buy them at the door. Live events begin at 8pm and movies start at 9pm.
