Visiting Holy Cross Abbey is a bit of heaven on earth. Plan to go when you can hear the monks chanting the Liturgy of the Hours or celebrating Mass. Fun place to visit while in the area or on a drive through the country
[--] A great place to visit, they have a nice gift shop with items such as fruit preserves, candy and, of course, fruit cake. They also have a retreat/guest house for visitors to stay in.
