I am living in Virginia Beach. The reason why I'm writing this review is that I can let you people know how suffering to have at least 100 jets flying over you every second of the afternoon. I live at least 1 mile away from Oceana ... more on Yahoo! Travel

It almost midnight and it appears it will be another night without sleep. The jets have been relentless the past couple weeks.

I live in Virginia Beach, however, I do not live in a high noise zone by choice. In other words, we knew what the noise levels were when we were house hunting and specifically said we don't want to see homes in 70+ noise levels.

Oceana may be loud and noisy with 'those horrible jets", but think of it like this, if they weren't here who's going to protect us if another 9/11 happens? They are constantly on guard.
