old opera house

Built in 1910, this opera house was cleaned and restored to be revitalized as a center for the arts in the 1970s. Today, the theater actively produces and performs an increasing diversity of plays and shows, such as Jesus Christ Superstar and The Sound of Music, offering six mainstage productions, one summer children’s show and theatre camp, dinner theatre, concerts, and black box theatre. The building itself has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
