You will miss the full extent of this experience if you don't take the boardwalk walkway down to see a totally different view of the area and the bridge (sidewalk on the right when facing the visitor center). more on Yahoo! Travel

It is on US 19 in Fayetteville, you can even see it on the Hybrid view. more on Yahoo! Travel

A close second is the Grandview area for hiking with some of the best views of the New River Horseshoe. more on Yahoo! Travel

The Visitor's Center has a wonderful display of the coal-mining history in the area, and just a short walk from there is a shabby-looking but really well-stocked gift shop. more on Yahoo! Travel
