The Chestatee Wildlife Preserve is a wonderful sanctuary for the animals it houses. Most of these animals came from very poor circumstances and are now fed very well and are in great health and get one-on-one attention that they need. I didnt believe it until I saw it. Directions

Take 400 North to end. Stay straight crossing Hwy. 60 onto Long Branch Rd. Next traffic light turn right onto Hwy. 52 Go 1 mile and turn right on Old Dahlonega Hwy. Entrance to Chestatee is 1/2 mile on left.
