Freebie that you would pay for
My family loves to go to Como Zoo. It's free; and this is a zoo you would pay for. You are guaranteed to see animals. It is small enough to do in a day or half a day (for those with nappers). Directions
Just west of the intersection of Lexington Parkway and Horton Avenue in Como Park; follow the signs to the main entrance. Several lots provide free parking; Metro Transit buses stop nearby, including Route 3A.
