We went to the zoo with great expectations, these were not met. The zoo was undergoing some refurbishment and we were not advised of this when we entered, because of this almost half of the zoo was closed. The conditions/room ... The Fresno Zoo is very good. It is very well landscaped and makes good use of its space. The Fresno Zoo even without the animals is a shady little get away. With the animals it is great.
