Established in 1966, the Los Angeles Zoo is easily one of the must-see attractions of L.A. Home to over 1,100 mammals and 250 different species, this zoo truly has every type of animal exhibit imaginable. Its botanical garden is also quite extensive, with over 800 different plant species and 7,400 individual plants. Before leaving, don't forget to stop by the camp gorilla reserve and the sea life cliffs; they're lots of fun for the entire family.
