""Huge"" and ""amazing"" are two words that leap to mind with regard to the San Diego Zoo. It covers a full hundred acres and houses more than 4,000 animals! A day trip ticket includes an optional bus tour and numerous animal presentations and demonstrations. The zoo recommends at least three hours, and animal lovers will find even more time than that passing quickly.
