Nice overall

The zoo here is quite small, so don't expect for a visit to take more than a couple of hours, even if you stop to eat lunch. The train ride is horribly boring, and you don't see any animals, so don't waste your money. The food is mediocre at best, so don't come too ... NoMoreMsNice, a user of Tripadvisor. Take a stroll

  • Admission: $7 for adults, $6 fro seniors, $5 for children (2-12), under 2 are admitted free. -- 10 AM - 5 PM. Last admission is at 4:15 PM daily. The zoo is only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas but special hours may apply during special events.
  • Collections: The zoo features over 480 animals, representing 130 species. 60 new species will be added with the opening of the Expedition Africa area in 2003.
