Do the Zoo!

I spent the first few decades of my life in New Orleans and when I go back to visit I always insist on a vist to the Zoo for my guests---If the weather is nice! --- and no one has ever been disappointed. If you are a tourist tempted by the 'Swamp Tours' don't do it! Go to the Zoo instead. In addition to the regular zoo things you will find in the country's top zoos, there is the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit which takes you to another world from the sticky sidewalks of Bourbon Street.
