Located along Boston's recently rejuvenated waterfront, the New England Aquarium is one of the premiere institutions of its kind in the United States. As well as exhibits that feature penguins and a 200,000-gallon Giant Ocean Tank that's the centerpiece of the aquarium, it also offers whale watching excursions and a number of other educational programs.
