Nice little zoo

What a nice little zoo-well, not that little, but very easy to cover in a short period of time! Lots of major animals here, such as a wolf, monkeys, flamingoes (cool), warthogs, a new lion display, an aquariam, camels, etc. Couple of decent stores to shop in. The Zoo is conveniently located at the corner of Fulton and Valley (1300 W. Fulton) just west of downtown Grand Rapids. The Zoo is two miles west of downtown Grand Rapids and there is easy access from the I-196 expressway. From 196 east take Lake Michigan

The Zoo is open every day except Christmas! *Mid-May through Labor Day open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (* The Saturday after Mother's Day) The rest of the year open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
