GREAT place to visit

As a native Islander, I've been to zoo many, many times growing up. I have since moved away and when I go back to visit, I usually try to bring my kids to see the zoo. The best overall I've seen

The staff was engaging and friendly and seem happy - contrary to other places through NYC where people seem unfriendly and rude. The visitors were respectful and not loud. Via the Verrazano Narrows Bridge: Follow I-278 West to the Slosson Avenue exit. Turn right onto Slosson. Proceed to Martling Avenue. Turn right and continue to Clove Road. The Zoo's entrance is straight ahead. Free parking is on the right. Via the Staten

Daily 10am-4:45pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
