I have been going to the Elmwood Park Zoo since I was a small child-back then it was free. more on Epinions.com

The prices for admission are very reasonable too which is always a plus for a cheap family day out. more on TripAdvisor

Hopefully, this one misstep is just a fluke for EPZ, because overall it's a wonderful attraction. more on TripAdvisor

I saw many families with small children and the zoo does have a playground, pony rides, and a petting zoo located in a barn-like exhibit (complete with owls hooting in their enclosures!). more on TripAdvisor
