The land where Bluebird Gap Farm currently sits has a history that dates back to the 17th century, when one of the area's earliest settlers, an English sea captain named Captain Tucker, bought the land for his family. Today, the farm is one of Hampton, Virginia's most popular ways for families to get out and enjoy a more rural adventure. The 60-acre farm has more than 150 domesticated animals and several picnic areas with barbecues. The park is open Wednesday through Sunday, and admission is free.
